  1. I know you are frustrated, but try to keep the fact that it’s a downward climb in the front of your mind. You are making progress, and as soon as you get off this plateau, you’ll be great.

    AND you’re exercising again, which is terrific. I’m proud of you.

  2. You know what? I don’t feel like I’m 17 pounds from where I want to be. Obviously my scale doesn’t let me forget it, but I’m back in my seven jeans, my thighs are so much stronger from all of the squats and lunges, and my calves look like they belong on a skinny person. And I feel awesome. Kind of frisky. It’s not all bad.
